Faith & Culture

We are part of a Catholic Community that has a rich faith tradition which can be traced back thousands of years. We commit to enriching the strong connection between our Catholic identity and the Arrernte culture.

We appreciate that we are an integral part of the Parish community. We value and we respect the role of the Parish Priest and the presence of the Marist Brothers, and strive to build on the already strong collaboration between the school and parish, and between the school and CEO Catholic Identity team.

We are proud to acknowledge and celebrate our Catholic faith. Our external signs and symbols are indicators of a faith that is deep and personal. We celebrate and proclaim this faith as part of our school routines, and especially during liturgies, prayer and the sacramental programmes.

We strive to see the children are given a solid grounding in their faith, and in the faith traditions of their families. We strive for strong leadership in the area of Catholic Identity and commit to ongoing formation and professional development for all members of staff. In particular we affirm the work of the Marist Mission and Life Formation Team.
